Most people will know how bad the battle between Apple and the rest of the world is getting. Every major developer is getting trouble from Apple and maybe they have a right to be causing such a storm. Over the past few months alone, there have been bans, injections and high court rulings over almost every device there is on the market today.
This might seem very odd to some but not so much to others. However, devices are being stopped literally from being stocked on the shelves and purchased in many countries around the world by another developer.
It all seems to be rather petty because no matter what one developer tries to do, they will end up losing the battle at one point or another. It really doesn’t make sense to continue these battlers or so it seems anyway.
There is a problem though – each developer thinks they are right. They think another device has stolen their ideas or are copyrighting some of their logics. This is probably one of the major reasons why there are so many court battles; the second probably has to be because the other company doesn’t want to lose out.
They want to be known as the best. It will forever go on and to be honest, many are intrigued how the next battle will turn out. Now, it seems there is a fight between Apple and Samsung – the Galaxy Tab tablet to be exact. However, in the United States of America, Apple basically won.
In the United Kingdom, Apple lost. Confused? Well don’t be. In America, it looks like judges take copyright infringement ten times as serious as here in the U.K. Both probably take things very seriously but one judge has ruled in the U.K. stating that the Samsung Galaxy Tab tablets weren’t damaging to Apple. Why – they weren’t the ‘cool device’ everyone believed it to be.
Apparently, the Galaxy’s are great on the outside but they just don’t look as cool somehow. To be honest, both the Galaxy and iPad are great and they do offer a lot. It should be healthy competition between them but right now, it’s ugly and it’s only going to get worse. No one likes the two battling it out for customers. The customers themselves don’t want to see it and it could potentially harm the sales of the Galaxy as well as the iPad.
It could because customers are not happy with how petty Apple seems to be – not in my words but a lot of customers want to see a friendly face behind their devices. If the battles continue, customers may think twice which is a complete and utter shame. There should be competition and battle – healthy ones which are clean and allows the customers to choose for themselves.
Right now though, that is not happening and that is what a lot of developers believe. They believe most of the court battles are all to do with stopping the other from succeeding or even having a chance to attempt this. It’s not nice and it does seem that Apple is trying to stop everyone including the HTC.
There was even a court injection on the sales but it seems the news of all this has taken a very dishearten view to the customers who are now seriously thinking about why all of this is happening and why should they only use Apple who are trying to stop the competition before they have even been given a chance.
