Over the past few years, every smart phone on the market has tried to out-do one another. Some of the cheaper models just gives the customers what they need, the basics and that is that which is still very popular to those who aren’t interested in live messaging services and video chatting. However, the latest of smart phones are well equipped with things such as voice recognition tools and everything else which seems that more are using these options.
When Siri came into the picture with the iOS 5 and the iPhone 4S, most people liked the idea of voice recognition on their phones. Now, it seems that every smart phone out there will soon have voice recognition. When Google themselves announced that they were great thinking about implementing the new voice recognition techniques onto their devices, it was received nicely. In fact, it took a very warm welcome by most potential customers. In fact, even those who weren’t a big fan of what Google promised believed that they did have something to offer.
Of course, most people today are going to make some comparisons from the old voice recognition tools to the latest but it does seem that Google might be able to top them all. That is no promise but it is certainly something they will try because it might just bring in more customers than they originally thought it would.
Now, while voice recognition might be a great idea, not every single customer might want this. It might depend over what they are being offered from the voice recognition tools and whether they want to use a device with this though nine times out of ten customers say they would prefer voice recognition. However, there isn’t much known about Google’s plans for the voice recognition program. Many are a little sceptical thinking Google can’t get the software to become any better than what is already out there so maybe the thinking of nothing new could be stopping the customers in their tracks.
Google does put a lot of effort into their products so there is no doubt that their new voice recognition tools are going to reach the grade of the highest standards possible. Google will need to make sure that their programs will run fast with the voice command and that it goes without any glitches either. There was a small prototype constructed with the Galaxy Nexus which had the Android 4.1 software but that requires Wi-Fi access in order to work.
Google is putting this as a BETA form and even though it probably will still have its flaws all along the way, the performance could be rather impressive. There might be a few problems over speech and how people speak when they are using their voice recognition. Some might use abbreviated terms or slang and not proper English which the program might not be able to handle so it is worthwhile thinking about those things first. Though it still promises to be a good tool to use today.
