Wintek is the Taiwanese company who is making touch panel for the next iPhone. They are facing some issues related to a problem called “delayed bubble”. This problem arises when the assembling process of laminating touch panels. Since the whole process of manufacturing is very similar to the process of iPhone 4, so we can expect from Wintek that they will solve this problem as soon as they can.
wintekOn 4th October this new iPhone will be releasing so after the arrival of this report related to some panel issues we can assume that the Apple may not be getting the full initial shipment of these units. But when asked, Wintek nullify these rumors by saying that all the products will be shipping on schedule, there will be no delay.
This is also possible that some wrong information is circulating everywhere because there’s been over a year about the announcement of iPhone which gives a lot of time to complete manufacturing and also to make sure the shipment all set before the release.
A quarter from all the touch panels will be provided by the Wintek. Taiwan-based TPK holds the 60-65% of all the touch panels with the remaining are produced by Chimei Innolux. With the partition of its manufacturing Apple makes sure to meet its targets and solved issues like these.
